In the heart of Paris, a new name is captivating the world of high fashion: Thalie Paris. Founded by the visionary Nathalie Dionne in 2020, Thalie Paris is not just another luxury handbag brand; it represents a bold leap into the future of sustainable fashion. Embracing Parisian chic and minimalism, Thalie Paris redefines what it means to merge luxury with responsibility.
A Brand Born from Inspiration and Necessity
The inception of Thalie Paris is a tale of creativity sparked by adversity. During the first Paris lockdown in March 2020, Nathalie Dionne, inspired by a walk towards Palais de Tokyo, discovered the name "Thalie" etched into a 30s Bas Relief by French sculptor Janniot. Thalie, named after the Greek muse Thaleia, symbolizes flourishing and beauty—a fitting emblem for Dionne's vision of eco-luxury.
Nathalie Dionne, whose career spans two decades and includes stints in Paris, Los Angeles, Vancouver, Shanghai, and Rio de Janeiro, draws from a rich tapestry of global experiences. Her work with luxury brands and her role as a creative consultant have honed her expertise, which she now channels into Thalie Paris. Her creations, featured in prestigious publications like Vogue and Elle, reflect her commitment to both refined aesthetics and environmental responsibility.

Sustainable Innovation at the Core

Thalie Paris is a pioneer in the realm of eco-luxury, with a deep commitment to sustainable practices that permeate every aspect of its operations. The brand stands out as the first in France to offer bags made from recycled marine leather by ICTYOS and vegan cactus leather from Desserto. These materials not only showcase innovation but also highlight Thalie’s dedication to reducing environmental impact.

One of the standout collections is the Sushi Collection, crafted from recycled salmon skin—a byproduct from sushi restaurants. This Squama leather is celebrated for its durability and aesthetic appeal, embodying Thalie’s ethos of transforming waste into luxury. Additionally, Thalie’s cactus leather bags offer a vegan alternative that combines elegance with ethical considerations, bearing the PETA ‘Approved Vegan’ certification.

Thalie Paris is sold at Bloomingdale’s Dubai and Printemps Paris, and is now featured at La Chambre, a concept store in Paris’s 1st arrondissement. La Chambre is known for its curated selection of luxury, sustainable, and innovative fashion, making it a fitting venue for Thalie’s eco-conscious creations.
