With states like New York adopting regulations on single-use plastic bags and consumers shifting towards more sustainable practices, Pam saw an opportunity to make a difference.
Drawing from her dynamic skill set and deep industry connections, Pam has crafted BYBBA into a brand that goes beyond mere fashion. It's a movement, centered on the conscious-carrying ethos. Each bag is meticulously designed and manufactured from 100% recycled ocean plastic, embodying Pam's commitment to keeping plastic out of our hands and ultimately, our oceans. Additionally, BYBBA donates 5% of its profits to Oceanic Global, a charity dedicated to ocean conservation.
Every style BYBBA designs serves multiple uses and is crafted with the intention of replacing plastic. For example, The Double Take THIS/THAT or WET/DRY is very intentionally made to save on using Ziplocks and plastic bags for wet items.

According to Seidman, “We’re considering the way people carry in all aspects of their lives and coming up with solutions for the way they move through their day to day in the context of today’s world. It’s all about good design and fewer, better things!”
