Drawing inspiration from Sosa's Dominican Aunt "Tía" Carmen, the restaurant embodies childhood "flavor" memories and the spirit of following one's heart and dreams. Sosa, with culinary expertise honed under luminaries like Jean-Georges Vongerichten and Alain Ducasse, infuses each dish with creativity and authenticity. Together with Stone, they've curated an experience that seamlessly integrates the essence of the Southwest into every aspect of Tia Carmen.

From the Adobe-style architecture, characterized by curved lines and expansive ceilings, to the seasonal and inspired flavors that grace the menu, every detail reflects a deep appreciation for the region's heritage. But Tia Carmen's commitment to the community goes beyond its culinary offerings. In a remarkable partnership with the Pima reservation, the restaurant harnesses ancient technologies and irrigation systems to cultivate a farm-to-table experience rooted in sustainability and tradition.
